Obliquities was an experimental installation involving a single-channel projection and three movable walls of semi-transparent fabric. It was originally exhibited in the Endless and Mobile Beautiful Collapsible Labyrinth show at Flux Factory in March, 2017.
Although the digital animations were cast by a static projector, viewers could manipulate the screens. The images could then be enlarged or made smaller, the images reoriented in multiple ways to experience the digital animations in new contexts. However, due to the angle of the hinged walls, the proportions of the images could never be copied, with subtle distortions outlining the trajectory of the projected light.
